The Workshop on Radiation Monitoring for the International Space Station (WRMISS) was organised the 24th time between 3 and 6 September, this year in Athens.

The members of our group are regular invitees of the workshop, so we took the opportunity to present our results obtained on board the International Space Station (in Pille, Tritel and DOSIS-3D programmes) as well as our new developments, like the RadMag concept. WRMISS provides a perfect meeting place for the most distinguished experts on the field from year to year. This meeting was no exception; all the major space agencies were present which are important in the operation of the Space Station, including NASA, Roscosmos, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) and on the behalf of the European Space Agency the DLR (German Aerospace Center). Besides the handful of universities (from Oklahoma, Houston, Texas, Kiel, Munich, Athens, Prague, Rome, Hawaii) and research groups, Thales Alenia Space and Lockheed Martin were also represented. The prominent audience welcomed the news of our recently opened Space Technology Test centre with interest.

Andrea Strádi and Boglárka Erdős presented TRITEL and DOSIS-3D results, as well as results of the RadMag development

Attila Hirn presented the latest measurement results by the Pille service dosimeter system

Finally, thanks to the local organisers, the conference ended with a full-day island cruise, which was an unforgettable experience for all participants.
